Because of lock downs and social distance measures, most of us have not been able to partake in any glamorous outings for quite some time. Dries (2017) The making of this film marks the first time that big name designer, Dries Van Noten, has allowed his home life and creative process on film. The film allows audiences a glimpse into the world and career of one of the most innovative independent designers in fashion. Coco Before Chanel (2009) This movie tells the tragic and triumphant life story of legendary French fashion designer Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel. The September Issue (2009) The September Issue follows Anna Wintour, and an impressive list of fashion designers and creators, on the treacherous journey that is creating the September issue of American Vogue. Though this documentary was shot during the creation of the 2007 September issue of Vogue, it is still a must see for all fashionistas today. The Gospel According to André (2017) The Gospel According to André is a documentary that explores the life and legacy of André Leon Talley. Talley is a fashion icon, as well as an accredited fashion journalist and the former editor-at-large of Vogue.
